ram tester

I have been suffering from BSOD link text: http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/forums/1/helproom/4043359/bsod-win-7/ bsod and after running memorytest 4.0 as review here and the inbuilt windows 7 tester they have both identified problems with the ram. I have 2 sticks of crucial ddr2 ram and after taking one out and retesting they both seem to be faulty.

What are the chances of both sticks of ram being faulty? Do the ram testers check the ram on the memory card as well?

I am unsure what you mean by memory card, what memory card?.

memtest test the RAM, i.e. the two sticks that you describe above.

I am unsure but not aware that memtest checks the VRAM.

There are plenty of VRAM testers out there Click here

Bremner you got a couple that you would recommend. I am a bit wary of dl things of the net without a recommendation to two.
