RAM query

Just a quick question, does anyone know how one can find out what RAM type is currently in use? I've looked at my motherboard manual and very helpfully it is for the whole series so lists a number of formats. No identifying marks on the actual RAM itself. Im just trying to match up to what is already in there as its for an Xmas present (curse me for think bout that this early but...) so want to get it right first time. I THINK im using PC2100 DDR Ram but I know this motherboard is a picky so and so. Any help with this would be greatly apreciated :-)

Download AIDA32 from CNET, in my system it gave Ram type and manufacturer.
