Ram Problems

If anyone out there can help me with this query I sure would appreciate it! I am running windows 98 se & have recently installed 320mb of sd ram. When I go into the systems information on my control panel it says "320mb of ram,48% load". Does this mean that Windows 98 se only accesses a maximum of 128mb? If so how can i free up the remaining 52%? Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks, Manfatha.

Manfatha, systems information on my control panel, is informing you, how much is being used at that particular moment.

If you shut down and re-boot, then check again you will see it is a different reading.

yyou only need to free up memory when it gets to about 70 or 80% load
