The best way to find out is to go to click here and use their online checker. They will tell you what you need and their RAM is as good as there is on the market.

click here for what they suggest

The best way to be sure is either to put in more of what you already have or go to the website of the memory suppliers who often have lookup tables.

The best of them is probably Crucial click here

They are a reputable supplier and are well-priced.

Oh I though it was different because the PC2 thing is different on the website it was
PC2-3200 on the crucial website and the one i wanted was PC2-5300 doesn't the PC2 matter?

  Diodorus Siculus 19:36 22 Jul 06

I don't think that PC2-5300 will work; only what crucial suggest.

Oh ok never mind because the one i wanted was from pc world so i could have bought it from the shop instead of ordering it online off a website.

I meant that your laptop is listed on crucial website.

Go to PCWorld then and get the one specified by Crucial.
