I am thinking about upgrading my ram soon. And i want to find out what the highest speed i can for it is. The manufacturer says its DDR 400.

But then i saw this "800MHz FSB" and wondered what it meant by this? As i am not too sure with computer lingo

DDR400 is what you need, as it is Double Data Rate RAM your DDR 400 RAM will equate to an 800 Mhz FSB.
