I am thinking of buying some 256 SDRam which will upgrade my current 256 to 512, i also have virtual memory which i can set to a good amount as i have large hard drive space, will extra RAM actually give any more performance or should i just stick to my 256 and virtual memory

any help would be great

you don't say what O's you are running, remember if it is 98, 98se or ME, don't go above the 512Mb.
