RAID Configuration

  DwayneDibbley 12:24 17 Oct 04

After toiling away for several hours trying to configure the RAID volumes on my new PC, I think I think I have just relalised something;

Is it correct that RAID is actually only of any use whem you have more than one hard drive (I actually only have one 250GB hard drive in my PC)?

If so, then I assume that I do not have to bother configuring anything (and probably why nothing comes up on my BIOS menu for it)?

If anyone can confirm the above, it would put me out of my misery (and technical naivity)!

You got it.

For any sourt of raid setup you need at least two HDD's.

Array, as in more than one.
