Hi all,

I've just got a new PC with a gigabyte ga-890GPA-UD3H mobo and 1055T processor / 4GB DDR3.

At the moment it has a 500GB hdd.

I have two more disks, a Hitachi 1TB and a Samsung 1TB which I want to set up in RAID 1 formation so that the data on Hitachi is always copied onto the Samsung.

Is it possible to install Windows 7, programs, etc onto the 500GB disk and then install the two 1TB disks in RAID 1 formation?

The disks in the RAID formation will be used for the purpose of storing data ie photos, video etc.

If not, what should I do?

Cheers.

Have a read of this , click here , it may go some way to explain what to do , substitute your 500gb drive for the mentioned SSD .

Thanks Ashley; that's helpful. I'll see how it goes and post back.
