QuickTime Won't Load a .MOV

  Luca M 22:07 31 May 04

I have recently made an iMovie on my friend's Apple Macintosh computer. After burning the movie (as a .mov) to CD I got home to watch the video on my Windows computer when QuickTime informed me that it "could not open the file because it is not a file that QuickTime understands". As a .MOV, isn't this wrong?
Please try and tell me how to watch it or convert it to a more Windows-friendly format.
(I have Windows Media Player 9 and QuickTime 6, running on Windows 2000 Professional).
Thank you!
