Quicktime? problem

  NigeH 07:48 10 Mar 06

I seem to have developed a problem with Quicktime. When trying to view a .mov file I get a message "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert disk" Clicking cancel several times does clear it. I uninstalled Quicktime and all was well, but when I put it back on, I get the same message during boot-up, without even trying to start Quicktime - so I've uninstalled it again. Trouble is I need it to play movie files from my digital camera.
Any ideas?
