Quicktime No disk in drive Can't get rid of box

When I launch Quicktime to view a movie from my digital camera, I get a warning box headed " Quicktime Player.exe - no disk"
"There is no disk in drive. Please insert disk in drive\Device\Harddisk6\DR9" after hitting the Cancel button in the box many times, the viewing screen eventually appears, but the box remains but finally disappears after what seems like a hell of a lot of hits. I can then play the movie clip, until the next one. Then a repeat of the above.
I have downloaded the .mov files from my camera onto the harddrive.
Has anyone any ideas.

Thanks Roadgiant the site you gave enabled me to solve the problem, looks like a bug from Apple.
