Quicktime movie slideshow

i use my digital camera to take quicktime videos, and would like to be able to cut certain bits out, and trim clips, and possibly add background music, can anyone reccomend a free program??]

I don't know of any particularly good free video editing software, but Ulead VideoStudio 9 is still available in some shops for around £30 and it's excellent. Make sure you have at least 512Mb RAM though.
