I have a 10gb older hard drive on my pc & a newly installed 40gb slave drive. If I was to add programmes to the new bigger drive from the old one would they load quicker & work more efficiently?

Thanks.

If the new drive is faster (faster spin, more cache, faster transfer rate), yes - but you'd probably not notice a lot of difference. You might get much better performance though, if you put your new drive as the master, as windows operations will also benefit from any increased speed, and thus perk up the whole system.

Doubt if you would see any difference
