Can anyone help with the problem of backing up Quicken data. I have had problems in the past with the Quicken Launcher not working and anyone searching this website will note that Intuit no longer suport the consumer versions of Quicken. My problem now is that I backup my data to an external hard drive disc. Today I had a message which I have had a number of times in the past that quicken launcher has stopped working. I then closed the programme as I have before and then restarted it when the backup ususlly works. Not this time it keeps telling me there is a file conflict as the file is already open and to close and try again. This I have done to no avail. I have also restarted the computer with no luck in backing up. Tried renaming the file again no luck. Any other suggetions would be welcome.
