I should know the answer, but can't think!

I have:

a1 x a2^a3 = a4

now how would I write the formula if a4 is known and a2 is the variable (ie what is the opposite of ^).

(I know I can use goalseek).

cheers.

A3=[log(A4/A1)]/logA2

A2=antilog{(log(A4/A1))/A3}

where log =log to base 10

Prob. easier to use Nat Logs

A2=EXP(LN(A4/A1)/A3

Sorry try

A2=EXP(LN(A4/A1)/A3)
