Quick Dual-Boot Question

  Rossi#1 21:13 08 Nov 06

Im adding a second drive tomorrow which I will be setting as a slave and installing Linux upon.At the moment I get a choice between XP and the Recovery Partition to boot but will the Linux be added or do I have something else to do?

Linux should install its own Boot Manager - GRUB or LILO (Linux Loader). You will then select whether to boot Linux or Windows. If you choose Windows, you should get your existing choice of XP or Recovery partition.

At one time I had a dual boot of 98SE and XP. When I added SuSE Linux, GRUB gave me the Linux/Windows choice and selecting Windows then gave me the 98SE/XP choice.
