Quick AGP query.

I ran Aida32 on my PC, and under 'Motherboard Chipset properties' it says:-

AGP Aperture Size 128MB

What exactly does this mean? I currently have a Radeon 9000 64MB card installed. Is the 128MB the maximum the AGP slot can handle or something?

It's the amount of sytem RAM the graphics card will use when its own RAM runs out. If you have plenty of system RAM then leave it at the current setting.

Thanks, Dan. You aren't as confused as I am when it comes to PCs!

I have 512 MB RAM installed. I didn't even know that this sort of adjustment was possible.

You can change the aperture size in CMOS BIOS but I don't think it makes any difference to most users. My aperture size is 128mb and I've only got 192mb RAM!
