A question regarding burn-proof

I have a NEC2500a DVD writer and when burning an audio/data CD using Nero the process box that appears prior to burning states 'burn proof activated'.

On the other hand, when i burn a data DVD the process box doesn't tell me that burn proof is activated and i was just wondering if this technology only relates to burning standard CD rom discs and not DVD discs.

Thanks and regards

You can "finalise" a disk, whether DVD or CD, using nero. If you use multisession, you are saying that you will or may need/want to change what is on the disk. No multisession will automatically "finalise" the disk. A "Multisession" disk also can be "finalised". Just check the tick box that says something like "Stop further writing to disk" when you are about to "burn" the disk!!!!
