Hi, what I want to be able to do is scan a document, save it as an image and then copy and paste into a fax programme so that I can send it as a fax. The progs I've looked at will not allow you to paste in this way. Does anyone know of a prog/utility that will let me do this. Cheers.

Have you got Winfax available on your computer? I don't think it's installed with Windows by default, but it will almost certainly be available on your Windows CD.

Once you've got it installed, you can find it in Start>All programs>Accessories>Communications>Fax.

You run through a short set-up wizard, and you can then send any windows-based document as a fax by using the Print command, and printing to the fax function.

Doh! simple when you know how isn't it. Thanks very much for that Pineman100. Really appreciated.
