I'm looking around for a laptop and I've found a nice Sony Vaio, but it's a Media Centre PC. Do Medi Centre PCs have the same funtionality as Home Edition PCs, or is it purely for entertainment (e.g. TV, Music, Films, etc?)

Thanks :)

And I've just realised I typed Addition instead of Edition...

This is what happens when you're revising maths and asking questions at the same time...duh...

As far as I know it has the usual features found in the Home Edition with some additions click here

Yea, every photo refering to media PC you see that different interface. I enquired about that too.

Apparently Media Centre is basically built on win XP pro and can be thought of as (almost) XP pro with a media centre addon.

The photos you see are what you get when you press the green button on the remote, before you do that it looks like an ordinary XP desktop.
