Question concerning Dial Up

This is a thing that has been niggling me for a bit.
I use the internet via AOL 56K Dial Up from home. Now if I moved home and took my PC with me, could I just plug it into the phone socket of my new home and merrily continue using the internet or would I have to make some changes.
I seem to remember when I first set it up, way back in the mists of time, that I had to enter the phone number of the socket I was using at home.
Anyone help?

You will need to set your connection up again using your new number. Inform AOL.
