hi, i want to get the Adaptec usbXchange adapter, so i can connect my scsi film scanner to the laptop's usb socket, the film scanner has a "socket" does that mean all scsi devices have a socket, and not a plug, "gawd, i hope this is making sense"......i dont want to order it and find that is also has a socket, when i really want a plug on the end...

thanks

I gather scanners won't work on SCSI to USB

You may be better going for a PCMCIA SCSI adaptor

Forgot, Maplins do a SCSI sex changer if you need one.

hi, your link said they work, i have only got one pcmcia slot and that is being used..if the adapter comes with a "plug" on the end, it will be ok, if the lead lands up with a socket on the end, i am stuffed.............
