putting audio cassettes onto cd

can anyone help iam looking to put audio tapes onto cd and looking for help as to how
run win xp pro with sp 2 amd 2000+ gb ddr memory
onboard nvidea audio
nforce fx 5200 graphics card
any help would be appreciated

Your local Adio store or Maplis mostlikly wil have a lead that has a 3mm stereo jack each end.
Plug one end imto the earphone socket of a Walkman or similar and the other end into the Line In on the PC.
Windows Media play will import thetake any one of a range on conerters will convert to MP3 or WAV.

It's better if your cassette deck has a dedicated line-out & connect this to the line-in of your onboard sound.

Go to click here & put SID1540 in the box & press the Search button. You'll get the basic connections from cassette/record/CD player to the PC's sound sockets (applies even if you have onboard
