Had my XP Home Laptop pinched a couple of weeks ago.
Have replaced it with New Laptop with Vista Home Premium Installed.

Loaded most applications. Win Office 2000 etc, from original discs bought over a year ago.

Loaded Publisher 2003, bought in June this year from Amazon, and it keeps telling me that I need to activate it. It was previously loaded on my XP Laptop and Desktop. Twice on the laptop after a full system crash.

Problem with Re Activation is that It will not let me Activate over the Internet, Only by phone with the following numbers:

+44870 241 1963 or 0800 018 8364

Has anyone any over ideas please.

THANKS SANTOS7

Tried that from your link.Got a little further than previosly but landed up, being referred to the phone method again. It is implying that it has been installed too many times

As I said this is the fourth time of installing. Once when originaly purchased, on desktop, twice on Laptop second time due to system failure. Now attempting this usage. Surely four Installations in just over a year is not excessive.

Have been on B****Y on and of for two days now. Constantly engaged.
Do they work Saturdays or Any time come to that?

Any further Advice Gratefully recieved

PLEASE.

(1)Has Anyone any Alternate Phone Numbers for this Problem

(2)Is there a time limit on how long the app can be used before it or they disable it/or itself?

At the moment I can access already made up completed things using all the features but am being restricted to using any features when attempting to start something new.

I am in Spain. Am dialing the full number given for UK
IE: 0044 870 241 1963.
I know it works from activating XP from here a year or so ago on the desktop. I have now found the Ireland number.
Will that work?

Assuming that they don┬Ęt know where your dialing from Will keep you posted.
