PSU on way out?

When switching on the desktop PC it tries to start. The psu fan runs for a second then stops. This is repeared a few times and eventually it fires up. Once running it's ok. Checked with pc wizard and voltages and temps etc. all look ok.
Grateful for any suggestions.

My PSU exhibited that same tendency a few months back, eventually it wouldn't fire up at all. Replacing the PSU cured the problem.

Thanks chub_tor. Looks like a replacement then.

Just an update, replaced PSU and back to normality. It's been a week since the replacement and no re-occurring fault. Thanks again chub_tor for conformation to my problem.

Experience, experience, experience - nothing clever in that.
