Hi,

Just ordered kit for a new build and wanting to check that my PSU is sufficient to handle the graphics card and CPU. Here is the list:

GeForce 9600GT card
Intel Core 2 Duo 8400 (3GHz) processor
Hiper 530W PSU (18A on +12v1, 17A on +12v2 - 30Amp combined)
640GB Western Digital hard drive
Pioneer 20x internal DVDRW optical drive
2GB RAM (possibly change this to 4GB)

Any advice would be great - ideally telling me that this all sound fine!

a quick google suggests a 400w requirement for the 9600GT, so the 530w will cope easily.
