psu and processors

i have a intel 440bx mb and 45o mhx pentium, can i use the power supply for this motherboard to power a pentium 4 1.8ghz, msi 845pe max2 set up. its 250 watt psu.

For the sake of a new PSU it is not worth the risk of an unstable system or fortunately less likely a burn out, which carries a very slight though real risk of blowing lots of expensive bits in your box.

its also unlikely that your old PSU has the extra P4 specific power connector.

Get AT LEAST 400 W PSU.

With only 250 it'll be highly unstable and you might burn the PSU out.
