I am looking to upgrade my PC PSU.
Looking at pictures of them some have large fans at the Top / Bottom.
Is the fan supposed to vent through the top of the PC casing or is the fan at the bottom?
Can the PSU be fitted either way ??

all psu of the standard type have the fixing screws so that they can only be fitted to the case one way round. The position of fans etc., makes no difference. The important thing is to obtain one with the correct minimum wattage and connecting plugs to suit your motherboard.

Big Fan should be at the bottom to draw air through computer extracting at rear, some just have a rear extraction fan

If there's one fan - that will be the bottom of the PSU, and as above, the mounting holes will ensure it goes that way up.

The fan sucks air out of the case and blows it through the PSU and out of the back.
