PSP connection issue

I have been a happy user of my sony psp for years and have certainley enjoyed the internet browser that came with it, but recently I bought a ps3 and was having connection issues with that so used my psp's connection settings as a reference for which to fill in my ps3's settings, unfortunately I must have changed something vital or my psp is jealous of its far superior twin but now no matter what I do to my psp's network settings I cannot for the life of me get the damn thing to connect to my router, it informs me that "A connection error has occured. A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again." any suggestions?

Could be a restriction within the Routers Firewall. Also check port rule with any internet security you have.
