i have a wireless router that is connected to pc downstairs and works great on PC and when using laptop around the house. The PS3 wont even pick up signal at times and at best its 40%, why is this if laptop has a full signal in same room??

had PS3 for months now and really want to connect to PS3 network, my friend has no prob conecting to his PS3 and he also had no luck setting up my PS3.

any advice would be great because this is really starting to drive me crazy!

Is there anything round the PS3 that could block or interfere with the signal e.g. is it in a tv cabinet? My PS3 works fine on wireless as well. Try this guide click here you could always try repositioning the router or PS3 to try and get a better connection. As a guide wireless works better if its higher up so its best to have the router upstairs.
