I have been trying everything but so far unable to connect securely. I have tried manual and auto via WPA.
The only way I seem to be able to connect if I disable to router security. It works fine like that but I live in the city so dont want open acess for all.

Please can anyone help us out here to connect the PS3 to the internet. It did work ok at parents house.

I am using PS3 to connect wireless to a netgear modem connected to Virgin Cable. I have checked passwords etc.

Does the PS3 support WPA or did it connect using WEP at your parents' house?

it was connected via VPA at home.

I have it now connected via WEP however would prefer to have it connected via WPA. I have tried a few more times but still without success :(
