Protection Bar?

Went onto the Internet today and this SpyDawn software had embedded itself onto the task bar.
The icon was flashing constantly and when you clicked on it, it loaded up on its website 3/4 times over.
The Norton scan kept aborting but the Windows Defender found a trojan - zlob. Eventually I think I got rid of it, its not on the task bar or in the programs. But on Internet Explorer on the Yahoo tool bar is a protection bar that links to click here.
How do I get rid of it?

I did that to get rid of the SpyDawn software. The problem now is on the Yahoo tool bar, when you right mouse click on the tool bar this Protection Bar is on the same list as Menu bar, Links, Status bar etc. It is ticked and will not un-tick.
It has 4 different links all for asecurity.com.
I'm using the antivirus that comes with Yahoo Broadband.
Thanks
