I have forgotten how to protect a floppy disc when saving information. Can anyone tell me how to add a password when saving on a floppy disc

and as such provides no inherent password protection. A file that you save to the disk, such as an Excel spreadsheet may be password protected, but that functionality is provided by the application, not the disk.

One method is to create a password protected zip file on the disk and add your files to the zip.

If it's just to prevent the info being wiped, the little tab on the back of the floppy should be moved to write protect.
