Hello all,
can anyone tell me why the programs I can see in Start programs menu are not all listed in add/remove in control panel ?

If an application is not registered, it is not listed in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

sometimes progs use their own dedicated uninstaller so wont write the nescessary registry info for add/remove to pick up on. these extra entries in the startup should all have a uninstall or remove option, some badly written ones may not have though, thats just a fact of computing im afraid. are there any you are unduly worried about?, if so post the names on here and someone should be able to help.
