I hace just got an upgraded machine for the Kids, on the old machine there are quite a few things loaded on the Hard disc which they want to keep -one of the games will NOT load on the new machine because they have scratched the CD;will the games work if I install the old hard disc as a slave in the new machine ( using the new hard disc for OS etc)???.
Both machines are XP (OEM) and I do have a router DVD writer if needed.

There should be little problems by adding the old drive as a slave, make sure you adjust the jumpers to slave, this would work out quite well cause they could use this disk for all the junk kids normally gather up keeping your new disk relatively clean
