I had a program to show the settings that the camera was set at while taking a photograph, unfortunatly I lost it a while ago. Can any one advise me where to find one. I think the one I had was from Microsoft but I can't find it now.

Irfanview will do what you require.

Open your picture file(s) in Irfanview and click on the "i" button on the Toolbar.

See:

Don't forget the plug-ins.

it seems to have been lost without trace, as it cant be found by PC World.

thanks mocha

thanks also stuartli

but the prog i was looking for gave the exif info while in my photographs, all you had to do was hover over a thumb nail and it poped up with all you needed by way of exposure apature focal length of the lens at the time of taking the photo, etc.

i will resolve at this point, but if any one knows of or has the photo prog i am still interested. thanks again. migwell

This is one of the best click here It's freeware and very sophisticated. If you want want a less reader then download Exifer click here.

Both these programs are stand alone readers and both very very good
