Program to capture screen shots?

I had high hopes of HyperSnap doing this, but no luck there.

I have in mind taking screen shots, say every 30 seconds, that could be viewed as a video. Then webcam sites such as click here could be left running. I could then return and play back the scenes.

Fraps,

Its mostly used for gaming, also if you get the trial version you can only capture for 30seconds max with no sound.

I honestly dont think Fraps will suite your needs as it only captures 3d games and not your desktop or anything else like it.

I have been using this for years now and find it very useful. Primarily developed for Flight Sim it can be used for whatever you want. What I like about it is you can have different "target" folders depending on just what you are capturing.
Give it a try:

Irfanview...
and it's free!

Run the program abd the settings you need are under Options>Capture/Screenshot.

Hi "snag it" works well at this, and you can also change type of capture ie: AVI to JPEG...Dave.

I may be asking for too much. Ideally, a utility that would take a screen shot automatically, at a preset interval, and save them to a folder.

Then, perhaps, another function could convert the jpgs into a movie.

Any budding programmers out there?
