A graphics card states that it requires Pentium 2 300mhz or higher and 64mb ram.

I asked the sales team for a card which would work on my (elderly) system Celeron 333, 384mb ram.

I am aware that celeron/pentium differences are to with onboard memory, but I am not clued up on the details. Is this card likely to work in my system, or is it not worth opening the packing?

With thanks in advance

The celeron was the poor mans p2 equivalent. It should work. What card are you about to install ??

Thanks for that.
Novatech own brand geforce mx200. It's just to pep up the elderly system (the PC, not mine)

I'll try it. Novatech confirm it to be OK
