Processor Upgrade Help

  Kitsunae 08:05 31 Dec 03

I'm running a Packard Bell Multimedia S606 computer, Pentium 233mhz with MMX Technology. I've been trying all day to find out what processor I can upgrade to, without needing a new motherboard/BIOS. (by the way, it's PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0)

In order to get high-speed cable internet, I need atleast a 300mhz processor. Can anyone help me, or atleast point me in the right direction?

hi Kitsunae

had a search and ye its hard to find anything on your pc. only upgradeoptions that i have found are for memory and all other items list your pc with 233 cpu, so it looks as if you will need to get a new mobo and cpu.

if funds are tight heres a few options to upgrade to if your not looking for anything that flies.

on memory you will need pc2100 ddr
