I believe i have a Intel P4 processor socket 775, which appears to be a Prescott, according to Everest. How can i find out which series it is as im looking into a new motherboard and need it to fit that and just want to make sure my processor is compatible with the possible new motherboard i get.

Thanks in advance

I am just looking now and unless im wrong i dont actually think it matters which series it is if im looking at a motherboard as theyre just 775 motherboards... and dont specify which series of processor it is.

Anyway, if someone can just calrify then that would be great.
