Problems with Virgin Media/Wireless

Hi all,

I'm using an Acer Aspire laptop that has been connected to our broadband via a built-in wireless card flawlessly for nearly a year now.

Recently, while I am connected to the internet and neither my computer nor the other computer on our network (A Mac) can find any problems with the connection (Or Virgin, our service provider), I'm having a lot of trouble loading most websites and anything with a lot of images, flash etc won't load at all.

We use a Belkin 54 G router which isn't password protected as the damn thing just wouldn't have it when we set it up.

I've tried to reinstall Virgin Media via their website but I can't get past the cable modem account search because of my poor internet quality...

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

only speaking from someone with a past experience of this problem and not from a technical point of view. My problem lied in the router i was using. I bought the virgin one and it works fine.

hope it helps
