Problems Using Nero Burning Rom 5.5

  kbca23 20:33 25 Mar 04

I have an xp home system 16oo Athlone xp processor 512 mb ram.
Last time I used Nero to compile a cd it worked fine.
Now I get the following messages on starting Nero:
'Under windows Nt/2000 burn rights are required by Nero to access cd recorders and cd-rom/dvd-rom drives.'
Please ask your system administrator for a permission to use Nero.
If I try and move tracks over to a blank cd to make my own compilation I get the message:
'Sorry, Nero cannot determine the SCSI/Atapi device, that corresponds with this drive letter.'

This drive is working properly and cd's inserted play normally.

Has anyone any suggestions what the problem maybe, please and how to remedy it?

How long since you've burnt a cd, maybe it needs an update. I use Nero 6 so I'm not sure what the latest version of 5.5 is try click here HTH TR
