Problems at Start-up

  spuds 12:59 02 Dec 07

Over the past few days, it is taking longer for the computer go through procedures on start-up.

Done the usual anti checks, and all appears OK. Going into start-up configurations, I find many programmes that have accumulated over time, but now I have a problem as to which I should untick. Many of the programmes do not give a clear indication as to their purpose, so I want to take this sensibly. Would mention that a few of the programmes refer to Microsoft!.

Any advice appreciated.
