problems with outlook express

since my latest updating of norton antivirus software (which may or may not be relevant) i have been unable to access my email account with outlook express , failing to connect and receiving the following - Your smtp server has not responded in 60 seconds . pop3.homecall.co.uk .. a time out occurred while communicating with the sertver :smtp.homecall.co.uk Protocol smtp port 25 secure (ssc) no. error number Ox800CCC19. can anyone help please.
