On my advice one of the flock has download Photo-story from which to make slide shows.
However when she tried to load the program this error message appears

C:\Program Files\HP\Memories Disc\skins\Hewlett Packard 0002\skingen\MEMDISC\PROVIDED\RETAILPF\SETUP.EXE is not a valid Win32 application

Which seems to imply some HP equipment is baulking the photo-story-load

I do not know what equipment she has - am awaiting that reply
What is the next move would you guys think

Firstly I would advise you Uninstall Photo Story completely and then Reinstall.

Let me know which O.S. it is - and was the download done from Microsoft.com ?

she writes
'HP computer, Epson scanner & Canon printer. Multilingual technology me!
and at a guess XP/Vista
Will discover more later

As it would seem to need me to 'get hands on' with her kit and I do not imagine I shall make that journey.
I have asked to do 'get rid' and download Irfanview

I initially suggested DVDPixPlay- but this means spending money and she was not at all keen on that.
