I have successfully set up a network on two computers & they can see each other no problem.I made the C drive etc. available to each other but the problem is i am being denied access to these drives because i do not have permission to open them.I am administrator on both computers so how do you give yourself permission.

Thanks.

Have you disabled the XP's firewall? (See ICF) or any other firewall such as zonealarm (allow LAN).

Login name but no password used on both machines.
Disabled xp & norton firewalls.Read help in device manager & it said to enable sharing in win. explorer.tried it but still denied access to any files or c drives.
