Problems With IE8

I have recently installed IE8. Problem is the browsing window is really big although my screen res is set at 1024 x 768. How do I make it the 'normal' size. Thanks.

A couple of things on IE8
Click page on the toolbar and look at text size.
Also bottom right, change zoom level. Try that, maybe inputting a custom percentage to get it spot on.
I use largest text and 130% zoom on a 17" laptop set to 1440/900 native resolution. Also use a custom DPI (dots per inch) setting to get super sharp text at a good size.

Try bottom right corner "Choose Zoom Level"
Reduce it to the size you want.

If the top button next to the red X is set to Maximize press it so restore down shows.Make sure there are no other windows open and drag the page to the size that you want then just press thered X and the next time you open it it should be the size that you want.

Or if your mouse has a scroll wheel just press Ctrl down and move the mouse wheel whichever way that suits you.
