Problem with wireless keyboard and mouse

I hope some one can help me with a problem I have with a wireless keyboard and mouse problem.

The system :- AthlonXP2700, Abit NF7-S motherboard, 512MB PC3200 SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9200SE graphics card.

The problem I have is getting a Microsoft wireless optical mouse and keyboard with the system working. I have some success with the mouse connector on the receiver connected to a USB port.

Alls well with a wired board and mouse.

I have updated the Bio’s and drivers but still no joy.

You may have more success if you post in the Helproom.

most wireless keyboards and mouse need to comunicate with the receiver usually there is a small reset on the rear side of both keyboard and mouse.

have you used these to reset?

if your wirless equipment is new then usually you need to do this in order for the receiver to reconise these.

also check that the batteries arelocated properly and are in good condition
hope this helps

Also make sure the kbd/mouse are not set to the same channel if you have this option.
