Problem with windows media player on television ?

Hi one and all..

I have just bought a s-video to scart lead.I have connected all cables,I am getting a picture of my desktop on the television.But when play a video on WMP,I can see it on my laptop,but no picture on my television...

Is this just a setting ?

All help welcome,that is related to the problem..

From what i can see i think it could be :

Mobil Intel 915GM/910GML express chipset

You need to use the TV Out feature of your graphics card (if it supports it) using the correct output socket.

Otherwise your Scart lead/S-video will only be able to be used to input signals to your desktop...:-(

Another possible cause is that some Scart leads are one way only or may have an input/output switch.

To find out your graphics onboard or card information, go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information>Components>Display.

That would give more opportunity to help you.

ok graphics are :

intel 915GM/910GML embedded

Just strange i can see the out line of WMP and task bar,but just a purple box in the middle where the picture should be...

If i play a game,it works all good..
