Has anyone come across the following error. it gets thrown up everytime I start internet explorer 8. I have run kaspersky antivirus and spybot with no luck any help would be appriciated.

"Process C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (PID: 2580) is attempting to invade process C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (PID: 1656). This behaviour is typical of some malware."

You get the option to ignore deny or skip if you choose anything but deny IE shuts down

it could be that IE has become corrupted. You could try downloading a new copy then deleting using add/remove progs to remove the existing then reboot and install your new copy. Alternately try downloading firefox and see if that runs with no problem. I rarely use IE since first using firefox.

Try Tools.Internet Options.Advanced and press reset. This restores Internet Explorer to its original settings.
You may have to go into Add-Ons and enable some of your add-ons after you have reset I/E.
